Delete your God Did account
You can delete your God Did account and request removal of associated personal data. You do not need to reinstall the app to use this page.
Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open God Did and sign in.
- Go to Me → Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll to Account → tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Deletion is processed on our servers.
Option 2: Email request
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address on your account:
Include your username or registered email so we can verify ownership.
What we delete
- Your profile, posts, testimonies, prayers, comments, and messages tied to your account.
- Follows, blocks, bookmarks, and in-app preferences stored for your account.
- Firebase Authentication credentials for your account.
Subscriptions & billing
If you have an active Proud Sponsor, God Did Verified, or Ministry Plus subscription, cancel it before or after requesting deletion:
- iOS (App Store): iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or God Did Settings → Restore purchases / subscription screens.
- Web / Android (Stripe): Use the billing link in God Did Settings → Partner with God Did or the Ministry Plus screen if you subscribed outside the App Store.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel subscriptions or refund past charges.
What we may keep
We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution (for example, moderation logs or payment records required by law). See our Privacy Policy for details.
Timeline
In-app deletion begins immediately. Email requests are usually processed within 30 days. Some backups may take additional time to purge.
