Privacy Policy
This policy covers the God Did mobile app and related services (accounts, testimonies, prayer, messaging, ministry promotions, and optional verification or subscription features).
God Did is for adults 18+ only.
What we collect
- Account info (name, username, email, phone, date of birth for 18+ verification, sign-in method).
- Content you post (testimonies, prayers, comments, messages).
- Media you upload and basic usage or crash diagnostics (optional consent).
- Location only when you choose to use location features.
- Subscription and voluntary support payment status when you use those features (including Proud Sponsor, God Did Verified, and Ministry Plus).
- Ministry promotion submissions, review status, live slot usage, and related media you upload for partner ads.
How we use it
To run the app, keep the community safe, send notifications you enable, and improve reliability. We use providers such as Firebase and Google Cloud.
Your choices
- Manage privacy, notifications, and blocked words in the app.
- Turn diagnostics and analytics on or off in Settings → Privacy.
- Delete your account in Settings → Account or via our deletion page.
- Request a copy of your data via Settings → Request data export or email support@goddid.app.
Ministry Plus and promotions
If you subscribe to Ministry Plus or submit ministry promotions, we process subscription status, billing identifiers, promotion content, review decisions, and slot usage to operate those features. Apple or Stripe may process payment details according to their own policies when you subscribe on iOS or web.
Privacy rights (international)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or ask for review of automated decisions. These rights are subject to applicable law and verification requirements.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland: You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We do not sell your personal information.
- United States (including California): You may have rights to know, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Canada: You may request access to or correction of personal information under applicable Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA and provincial laws such as Quebec Law 25 where applicable).
- All users: Email support@goddid.app from your registered address or use in-app tools. We aim to respond within 30 days (or the period required by your local law, if shorter).
International transfers
God Did uses service providers such as Google Firebase and Google Cloud. Data may be processed in the United States
(including us-central1). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Children
God Did is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact support@goddid.app if you believe a minor used the service.
Biometric data
Optional face verification and face sign-in involve biometric processing. See the in-app Biometric Notice before enabling. You can withdraw biometric consent in the app or contact support.
Account & data deletion
Delete your account in-app via Settings → Delete account, or use our account deletion page without reinstalling the app. You may also email support@goddid.app from your registered address.
